CACT-Co has developed and manufactures a family of cartridge actuated cable cutters by adopting space/missile cutting technology that will cut through overhead and underground cables with ease. Focusing on the Power Line Industry, CACT-Co developed a line of cartridge actuated cable cutters that will cut through ACSR BOBOLINK 1431 kcmil 45 (Model Al), Drake 795 kcmil 26 (Model A4) and 2-inch underground 1000 and 750 kcmil and copper conductors (Model A5). The cut is instantaneous and uniformly clean permitting the application of slip-on connectors.
CACT-Co's Open Frame cartridge actuated cable cutters (Model Al) will cut .68-inch ACSR, ½ inch guy wire, 3/4 inch bolts, ground rods, ½ inch rebar and ½ inch square security bar tubing, making it a perfect cable cutter for police and fire departments. CACT-Co's cartridge actuated cable cutters allows easy access to buildings with attached security bars with quick clean cuts.
